MILAN, Italy – Gruppo Cimbali, one of the leading manufacturers of professional machines for making coffee and milk-based drinks, as well as coffee shop equipment, will exhibit at Milan Design Week from 17 to 23 April with Faemina, the machine produced under the iconic Faema brand that resulted from a combination of exclusive design and high-quality coffee, specifically conceived for the Home segment.

Faemina at Milan Design Week

Designed by ItalDesign, which has always been synonymous with sophisticated Made in Italy, Faemina is a true design object thanks to its combination of refined style and minimal geometric shapes and contours.

It is available on the market in two variants: the Urban Color series features a contrasting body with finishes ranging from black to white to the Pantone colours of the year, while the Classy series is characterised by high-quality materials such as polished aluminium designed to be paired with satin copper or chrome.

Design Week is therefore the natural habitat for Faemina, which plays a leading role thanks to 19 machines installed in 12 different locations including Kitchen & Living showrooms and pop-up stores, chosen to cover the main design districts and animated by various events organised during the week.

You will be able to admire Faemina in a variety of contexts, from a kitchen to an open-plan living space and an office. Indeed, Faemina is a true icon in both its form and content, an exclusive tool for celebrating the art of coffee in every setting thanks to the minimal elegance of its forms and its colour variations, which allow its customisation.

It will obviously also be possible to test Faemina’s high-level performance first-hand, guaranteeing the ritual and pleasure of high-quality coffee. Various corners devoted to the coffee world will feature Faemina’s exclusive design, with sessions dedicated to espresso and specialty coffees, as well as to coffee-based cocktails and drinks that can be created using the exclusive brewing system.

During Milan Design Week, Elle Decor will stage The Art of Light, an interior design project curated by architect Giuliano Andrea dell’Uva, with the theme of light proposed in various forms thanks to the expertise of lighting design studio Metis. The aim of the initiative is to represent light as the central feature of the domestic space with an emotional language and an immersive experience.
