First Watch introduces new speciality iced coffees for the summer

Mint Mocha and Honey Caramel Crunch iced coffees join the year-round breakfast, brunch and lunch menu nationwide

BRADENTON, Fla., USA – Hot summer days will get an extra cool start as First Watch introduces new specialty iced coffees to its permanent breakfast, brunch and lunch menu nationwide. The two iced coffees, Mint Mocha and Honey Caramel Crunch, feature Ghirardelli® dark chocolate chips, toffee crumbles, honey and sweet cream cold foam.

Five limited-time offerings also join the summer seasonal menu, including the fan-favorite Watermelon Wake-Up juice, now through August 13*.

“Iced coffee is a lifestyle, and First Watch is inspired to showcase the same creativity that we bring to our juice bar and seasonally inspired menus with these new beverage offerings,” said Matt Eisenacher, Senior Vice President of Brand Strategy and Innovation at First Watch.

“Evolving these new coffees from an idea to reality, our very own Chef Shane Schaibly and supply chain team procured honey from over 35 producers, along with fresh mint and farm-fresh cream to create the Mint Mocha and Honey Caramel Crunch flavors.

Our iced coffees being the latest example, every item on our tables reflects our strong, intentional relationships with growers, seasonal expertise and culture of testing, learning and innovating to make our customers’ days that much brighter.”

First Watch’s two specialty iced coffees permanently join its full menu, available for pickup, delivery and dine-in service:

  • Mint Mocha – Chocolate and fresh mint topped with a sweet cream cold foam and mini Ghirardelli dark chocolate chips.
  • Honey Caramel Crunch – Salted caramel and honey topped with a sweet cream cold foam and toffee crumbles.

“With our new iced coffees, First Watch is offering a way to beat the summer heat with chilled beverages that pair perfectly with the sweet and savory flavors we’re bringing with our newest seasonal menu,” said Shane Schaibly, Senior Vice President of Culinary Strategy for First Watch.

“On this summer’s menu, the Carnitas Breakfast Tostadas are my hands-down favorite, and I would eat them every day if I could. There’s nothing I love more than fresh corn during the summer, so I found a way to feature it in this dish with a house-made pico de gallo.

Even the dish’s accompanying cup of fresh fruit complements the tostadas’ bold flavors with Tajín and its unique blend of chili and lime. And you know it wouldn’t be summertime at First Watch without our Watermelon Wake-Up fresh juice, making its highly demanded return for the fourth year in a row.”
