The way of enjoying a cup of coffee is changing every day, thanks to the last dispensing and packaging solutions.
Everybody knows that food packaging plays an important role. A good pack should be designed in order to facilitate either the distribution process or the final consumption and make the product look more attractive and easy.
This is also very true for coffee and coffee capsules, which is the modern and good looking concept of making coffee at home. Bisioprogetti (a Guala Group Company) is now a key packaging producer in the market of coffee with new interesting proposals, thanks to its more than 25 years old know-how in mould manufacturing and packaging research.
Bisioprogetti’s own click capsule gained growing appeal on coffee producers and private labels for its original technology. This project has two different patents covering its click-clack system of activation and its sealing system. This capsule is unique: first of all it activates by needle and water pressure and it also has a special sealing system which was designed to avoid water leak out of the coffee machine. Both solutions together are combined for best preserving coffee’s aroma and taste.
After the enormous success of the click-caps, which is still one of the most preferred coffee capsules on market, the next interesting innovation made by Bisioprogetti to be launched will be a biodegradable capsule. This new product has been successfully tested and will be put soon on sale. Thanks to its biodegradable material the capsule will be 100% compostable and it will dissolve within 90 days, under controlled composting conditions, according to the current European regulations. Furthermore, all the components of the final coffee capsule will be compostable, lead and pouch included.
Shape and system are the same as the original PP model, both versions of the cap with 3 openings and 6 openings are still available, so that it can adapt to the different employments (tea, hot chocolate, tea and infusions).
The advantage of using this biodegradable cap stands in its price, which is still very cheap, its great adaptability to the different uses and also the possibility to customize the project with different colors.
