MILAN – Arabica coffee futures recovered sharply on Tuesday, as Brazil’s currency rose to an 11-month high. The benchmark contract for September delivery closed 455 points higher at 140.60 cents for pound on Real’s performance, higher commodity prices and bullish reports from Brazil.
London posted good gains as well, with the September contract ending the day at 1,701 dollars up 37 dollars from the previous session.
