GAGGIO MONTANO (Bologna, Italy) – After finally returning to face-to-face meetings last October at Host Milano, 2022 opened with a series of prominent national and international events for the Horeca sector – and Gaggia Milano has featured prominently in them all. Although the five days of Sigep Rimini, held from March 12th to 16th, recorded a foreseeable decrease in attendance compared to the 2020 edition, for the 950 brands and international operators present at the event, Rimini proved to be the ideal venue to introduce their most innovative solutions to the market.
Gaggia Milano returns to Host and Sigep
Gaggia Milano went on stage with its complete range of traditional coffee machines, first of all La Reale, as well as the two fully-automatic models La Radiosa and La Solare, which are both fitted with state-of-the-art technological features.
Hostelco, the exhibition dedicated to the world of hotel and catering that closed a couple of weeks ago in Barcelona, confirmed the strategic role of the fair, with its central position in the Iberian peninsula’s hospitality sector.
Thanks to the comprehensive range of coffee grinders and professional coffee machines, both traditional and fully automatic, the iconic Gaggia Milano brand was once again the centre of attention, reaffirming its influence in the coffee industry.
Alongside the two major innovations that will be launched in the coming months – La Dea, a compact, refined model with one brewing group, which suits small but premium locations perfectly, and the G5 coffee grinder – the star of the large Quality Espresso booth was, once more, the top-of-the-range La Reale, which took centre stage in the coffee seminars and live shows of Latte Art.
Gaggia Milano in Europe
It was the undisputed ‘queen’ of Gaggia Milano that captured the eye of King Felipe of Spain, leading to an unforgettable meeting of ‘royals’, upon which all the fair’s spotlights were focused.
Gaggia Milano’s world tour will continue in Hamburg at Internorga, a leading event for the hotel, restaurant, pastry and food & beverage industry in general, which opens in two days. In addition to La Radiosa and the newcomer La Solare, which sum-up the Germans’ strong orientation towards fully automatic coffee machines, on the Evoca Group stand you can also experience La Giusta, which perfectly combines modern style with the authentic taste for which the brand is famous, and La Precisa, a refined machine that epitomises ergonomics, practicality and reliability.
Next to our consolidated range of traditional coffee machines, we’ve also added G10, fresh from its launch in the new evo version, and the brand-new G-Cleaner, our automated grounds cleaner accessory.
The experience in Usa
Gaggia’s mission is not limited to the heart of the Old Continent, it extends overseas too. In fact, we participated in the latest edition of Specialty Coffee Expo, the largest coffee-themed event in North America, which took place from April 8th to 10th at the Boston Convention Exhibition Center.
Organized by SCA, the event was not simply a parade of solutions capable of responding to the needs of the most demanding baristas; it also provided an opportunity for them to experience first-hand the potential of La Reale.
Our Coffee Ambassador invited visitors to bring their favourite blend to the stand and experiment with the unique potential of the DFC (Dynamic Flow Control) system for dispensing coffee-based drinks.
And we’re not finished with the USA: we’ll see you, from 21 to 24 May, for the National association restaurant show in Chicago. Gaggia Milano is also preparing to go back to its hometown, where in a few weeks, even the simplest coffee cup may add a meaningful contribution to a project of international scope. There will be more in the future.
