STUTTGART, Germany – The German International Hotel Association (IHA) is the new exclusive partner of Intergastra in Stuttgart .

The industry association for German hotels, to which over 1300 leading hotels from all over Germany and in all categories (individual, cooperation and chain hotels) belong, will be actively involved in the design of specialist and framework programmes for the large HoReCa trade fair in Stuttgart in the forthcoming Intergastra trade fair, which takes place on 3rd to 7th February 2018.

“Our decision to form this exclusive trade fair partnership was made against the backdrop of the extraordinarily dynamic development of Intergastra in recent years,” states IHA Chairman Otto Lindner, who sits on the board of managers for Lindner Hotels AG.

“Intergastra in Stuttgart offers our members and the overall accommodation sector a wide, expert range and we are looking forward to contributing to this further.”

Ulrich Kromer von Baerle, CEO and president of Messe Stuttgart, is extremely pleased as he discusses the IHA’s commitment: “This exclusive partnership with the German International Hotel Association will make Intergastra even stronger and underlines its claim to leadership as one of the top industry trade fairs for the hospitality industry in Europe.

We are convinced that both sides will benefit from this collaboration but, above all, those who visit us at the trade fair will benefit. Together with the IHA, we will further advance Intergastra.”

The DEHOGA hotel and restaurant association in Baden-Württemberg is an ideal supporter of the Intergastra European trade fair.

Its chairman, Fritz Engelhardt, warmly welcomes the collaboration with the IHA as a new exclusive partner: “This new trade fair partnership underpins Intergastra’s professional standards and represents a welcome reinforcement of our traditionally close and successful collaboration with the IHA.

We at DEHOGA Baden-Württemberg are looking forward to working with our partners at the IHA to make the trade fair more attractive and successful.”
