A coffee shop in the West Midlands, U.K., is taking creative coffee to new, and fabulous levels, by adding glitter to their morning cups o’ joe.

According to Mashable, Melbourne in Lichfield is now selling lattes (standard and turmeric) topped with edible gold glitter. The coffee shop’s owners, Deb and Andrew Pease, created the concept because they enjoy experimenting with their treats in the name of good ol’ fun.

“We are quirky and unashamedly true to us. We love a laugh and making people happy,” the couple tells Mashable. “Whilst I take coffee seriously, I love fun as well and believe we all need to have more fun in life and enjoy what we do.”

Glitter lattes are just the latest in a long line of sparkly foods making the rounds in 2017. (Thanks, Instagram.)

Earlier this year, Disneyland began selling Mickey-shaped beignets topped with purple glitter, while Coachella was all about glittery waffles on a stick.

Meanwhile, in the U.K., people can help themselves to a well-rounded shimmery breakfast by pairing their glitter lattes with sparkly unicorn fruit loops.

Melbourne in Lichfield isn’t even the first café to market a dazzling caffeine fix. Mashable tracked down a spot in India that also sells a “Gold and Diamond Cappuccino,” a beverage decorated with beautifully intricate and edible twinkly designs.

Sadly, it doesn’t look like there any cafés in the U.S. have caught onto the “glitter latte” trend yet, but that doesn’t mean you can’t DIY one at home. Grab some edible glitter from the baking aisle and sprinkle it on top of any drink for a holiday-inspired drink that will put everyone else’s red cups to shame. Because as they say: Eat glitter for breakfast and sparkle all day.
