TELFORD, PA — Fres-co System USA, Inc., a premier provider of flexible packaging to the coffee industry and other food and specialty markets, has donated $5,000 (USD) to Coffee Kids, a Santa Fe-based nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of coffee-farming families.
Coffee Kids supports locally managed projects in economic diversification, education, health awareness and food security in impoverished coffee communities.
“Thanks to the generous support from companies such as Fres-co, we are able to have an increased impact in coffee-growing communities,” said Rebecca Singer, executive director of Coffee Kids.
“Fres-co has been associated with Coffee Kids since 1994, and we support their mission,” said Chris Burger, coffee market manager at Fres-co.
“As part of this industry, we believe it’s important to support the quality of life among the farmers in the coffee communities.”
