RIMINI, Italy – Gruppo Gimoka will present at Sigep the ergonomic, refined and extremely flexible “GM 1” solution that brews a wide range of high quality drinks. The machine, which operates with various portioned systems at the same time, is addressed to the professional market, however, due to its compact size, it can also be used in the home segment.
GM 1 all-in-one. One machine, countless drinks
Caffè espresso, cafè crème, americano, drip coffee, Turkish coffee, soluble beverages (chocolate, cortado, ginseng coffee, orzo, golden milk), green, black, lemon and camomile tea and other types of infusions … These are only some of the beverages that you can make with GM 1, which can significantly broaden the drinks offer of bars, restaurant chains, bed and breakfasts and refreshment points.GM 1 combines the features of various individual drink machines, thanks to a patented solution it delivers a wide range of drinks, enhancing their specific sensory profiles.
The brewing unit can accommodate two types of capsules: for drip coffee and leaf teas, requiring low brewing pressures, the K-cup* capsule-holder is used; while for espresso and soluble drinks, requiring high pressures, the capsule-holder accommodates the proprietary multi-beverage capsule. Thus, you can prepare an endless menu of drinks.
Beverage quality and flexibility: a perfect blend
The patented GM 1 system boasts uncompromising technology. When the capsule holder is inserted, the machine immediately recognises the appropriate brewing process required for the type of drink to be prepared.
GM1 is also able to activate the brewing process that is most suited to the type of drink you wish to obtain. In fact, each choice can be customised in terms of dosage, temperature, pressure and brewing cycle to maximise the drink that is delivered and the organoleptic characteristics of the ingredients are respected.
Pre-infusion times and “step” deliveries can be programmed according to the quality you wish to obtain for a certain drink. Thus, the preparation process is improved and a constant temperature is guaranteed, also for large quantities of beverages and multiple deliveries.
GM1 is equipped with an electromagnetic valve, which allows you to add hot water (for brewing beverages such as American coffee), or alternatively to choose to brew beverages at room temperature (for cold soluble products).
Finally, the GM 1 system avoids cross-contamination between subsequent drinks.
Innovative, functional design
GM 1 has a modern design, with sturdy yet refined lines. The central section, large touchscreen and handy support for cups and glasses of various shapes and heights all contribute to convey quality and professional performance, while at the same time being extremely ergonomic.
The advanced software allows you to customise navigation and the beverage menu. The extremely intuitive touchscreen user interface can be upgraded over time, allowing you to add functions such as: the remote control of the machine (for statistics and consumption data), requesting routine maintenance and/or extraordinary repairs and new menus.
Gruppo Gimoka Multi-beverage offer on show at SigepA range of products for broadening the offer of locations, thus allowing them to differentiate themselves from their competitors.
At Sigep, Gruppo Gimoka presents a new multi-beverage line, offering a rich quality assortment thanks to a wide range of differently brewed beverages: espresso, drip coffee, Americano, Turkish coffee, soluble drinks and leaf teas.
A comprehensive catalogue of drinks for the professional segment
High quality ingredients, specific formulas for the Ho.Re.Ca sector that are able to satisfy the needs of the traditional market, but also to capture emerging, newer and more refined tastes. A catalogue that will allow the single location to easily enrich its offer, differentiating itself from competitors’ traditional products.
The varied and extensive catalogue is the result of the experience that Gruppo Gimoka has acquired over time on various international markets, by developing specific products for the Asian, North American as well as Central and Northern Europe markets, investigating various drinking trends and relevant sensory experiences. This has allowed the Group to create “ad hoc” formulas.
A total coffee experience
Specifically, the range of drinks includes a total coffee experience: besides espresso – and here Gimoka Group is obviously playing on its own home ground – and Americano, a drip coffee offer will satisfy the palates of drip coffee lovers. However, the catalogue offers a rich selection of hot drinks: chocolate, orzo, ginseng premium and new items such as Soy Drink, Ginseng & Matcha, Chai Matcha, Golden Milk, Ginger & Lemon – formulas designed to satisfy people who wish to follow a light, healthier diet or those who have a food intolerance. For instance, “Ginseng Premium” does not contain gluten, hydrogenated fats and palm oil, while “Ginseng Light”, besides not containing the above elements, also does not contain lactose, GMOs and cane sugar. There is also an extensive catalogue for leaf and herb teas as well as green and black teas – a segment in which consumption has grown considerably over the last years.
All this will allow baristas and bed & breakfast/restaurant managers to extend their offer to their clients, by using a unique, high quality drink making system. Gimoka thus confirms its attention, not only in following market developments, but also in anticipating trends.
Gimoka will be present at Sigep, Rimini Trade Fair, from 20 to 24 January, at stand n. D3 134.

Gruppo Gimoka
Gruppo Gimoka was established at the beginning of the 1980s and, due to the insight of its founder Ivan Padelli, it now ranks amongst the first coffee roasting companies, in terms of processed green coffee.
The core business is coffee in all its forms and expressions, be it ground, bean or single-serve coffee. The Group controls the entire value chain: from raw material supplies to carrying out the delicate roasting and grinding phases, followed by packaging and encapsulation.
Thanks to the know-how acquired over the years and ongoing investment in its industrial and distribution segments, Gruppo Gimoka is present in the Professional (Ho.Re.Ca., OCS and Vending) and home sectors, with its own brands and through private Italian and international brands.
The Group’s development demonstrates Gimoka’s natural propensity for understanding the challenges of a constantly evolving market, by continually reviewing its strategies and company organisation, with the aim of appropriately tackling and seizing the opportunities that arise.
