LONDON, UK – In April 2021, Nestlé Professional announced the launch of the first Nescafé Azera Barista+ coffee shop at the Riverside of The Oracle centre in Reading. The coffee bar boasts a creative and upbeat atmosphere and offers locals with an uplifting on-the-go coffee experience as part of their daily routine. The kiosk offers coffee classics and signature drinks – there is something for everyone. Visitors are also encouraged to bring their own reusable cup for a 25p discount.

To further elevate the coffee experience, Nescafé Azera Barista+ champions local artists by giving them a canvas and featuring their work on the coffee bar and on the takeaway cups.

Kick-starting this initiative, the first local artist the brand has been working with is Kev Munday. Kev creates colourful, “utopian worlds” and invites the viewer to spend some time living in them. Inspired by people-watching and the everyday, Kev exaggerates and celebrates the ordinary and aims for his art to appeal to all ages.

To top things off, Kev will be delighting consumers this Saturday (18th September) at the Nescafé Azera Barista+ coffee shop where he will be doing live doodles to celebrate the launch of the ‘Kev Cup’ – a takeaway cup that features Kev’s design, which also takes centre stage on the side of the coffee bar.

As part of the event, Nescafé Azera are hosting a giveaway competition from today (15th September 2021) to 22nd September whereby competition entrants are offered the chance to win an original piece of Kev’s fascinating work. All you have to do is:

  • Visit the Nescafé Azera Barista+ coffee shop in Reading and buy a cup of coffee of your choice.
  • Take a photo of your cup of coffee and share on Instagram with the hashtag #MyAzeraCup and tag @nescafeazera.
  • Follow @nescafeazera to see the winner announcement.
