MILAN – Gruppo Cimbali, leader manufacturer of professional espresso and cappuccino coffee machines, announces the acquisition of 100% of its branch office in Germany (picture).
The responsibility will be handed over to Leopoldo De Luca, a proven experience manager, who for 15 years has operated successfully for Gruppo Cimbali as Area Manager in Central Europe. This investment confirms the company’s will to be directly present in strategic markets, such as Germany.
Gruppo Cimbali Deutschland headquarters are based in Kempten, Bavaria, and employ 32 people operating in sales and service. Through its branch, Gruppo Cimbali will manage the distributor and service centers’ network, which covers the whole national territory and provides technical support to customers and major key accounts such as Aral, McDonald’s, Vapiano, Monaco and Frankfurt airports.
Gruppo Cimbali designs, manufactures and distributes professional machines for coffee, milk-based drinks, instant beverages, coffee grinders-dosers and dishwashers under its brands LaCimbali, Faema, Casadio and Hemerson. The company aims at offeingr the market the widest range of solutions for the professional catering, combining technology, ease of use, design, high performance and top beverage quality.
Gruppo Cimbali headquarters are based in Binasco, near Milan (Italy). Its 4 production plants, all of which located in Italy, cover a total area of 80.000 sqm, of which 45.000 sqm indoors.
Gruppo Cimbali 2012 turnover was of 133 million Euros. The group exports 80% of its production to more than 100 countries throughout a network of 700 direct distributors and its branches in Italy, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, USA, Hong Kong, Australia, Austria. The entire sales network also provides pre and post-sales technical assistance.
The group employs more than 600 people a third of which operates outside Italy.
