BRUSSELS, Belgium – Gruppo Cimbali is among the lenders of the exhibition “Red in Italy. The Colours of Red in the Italian Design” inaugurated on the 11th of September 2019 at the Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels. The exhibition takes place in the context of Brussels Design September.
The collaboration started from the relationship between Galleria Campari and MUMAC, Gruppo Cimbali’s coffee machine museum, both joined to Museimpresa, the italian company museums association committed to enhance company heritage and values.
This bond allowed LaCimbali to be present in a renowned exhibition celebrating the shades of red, through the exposition of some iconic objects Made in Italy.
Alongside with the famous red Campari, there are other iconic brands such as Ducati, Ferrari, Ferragamo and Kartell.
The coffee machine exposed (La Cimbali M23 UP) at “Red in Italy” becomes part of an exposition that wants to communicate colours as cultural vehicle: they are part of the culture of a country, they characterize customs and traditions of a population and they influence its behaviour, environment, language and imagery.
The exhibition reflects on the world of “reds” that made History. The enriching and entertaining story of this color tells the evolution of the western society’s mentality, drawing on art, design, culture and sociology.
Five themed sections give to the visitor an interpretation on the topic that involve all five senses. This exhibition confirms the important role of Italian companies in design, enhancing the elements of Made in Italy such as tradition, heritage and qualitative excellence.
