MILAN, Italy – Gruppo Cimbali, one of the leading manufacturers of professional machines for making coffee and milk-based drinks, as well as coffee shop equipment, is exhibiting the latest products from its LaCimbali, Faema and Slayer brands at the Amsterdam Coffee Festival from 30 March to 1 April.
Gruppo Cimbali at the Amsterdam Coffee Festival
The event celebrates Amsterdam’s vibrant coffee scene, hosting Europe’s best baristas and allowing experts, workers and industry professionals to experience the latest trends in a dynamic atmosphere full of art and music.
Faema is waiting for visitors at stand G50; here, visitors to the Amsterdam Coffee Festival can admire the iconic Faema E61, the brand’s design emblem for more than 60 years, and Faema President, which echoes the contours and shapes of the glorious President, while offering state-of-the-art technology with the guaranteed thermal regulation of each individual unit thanks to the Thermobalance system.
The stand also features Faema’s latest addition, Faemina, the espresso machine perfect for the home and small businesses such as boutiques, bistros and concept stores. Its customisable design makes Faemina the perfect product to fit into any context, from the most modern coffee shop to the most classic kitchen.
Faemina is also the focus of the Faemina Coffee School, an area where visitors can challenge themselves with a masterclass on how to create the perfect coffee-based drink.
Angelo Sportelli, a MUMAC Academy trainer and member of the Barista Guild Leadership Council, and Matteo Pavoni, owner of Peacocks Coffee and 2022 Italian Barista Champion, demonstrate in 45-minute classes how to make a flawless espresso, some basics of latte art, and how to texturise milk and plant-based alternatives. At the end of each session, the two trainers teach the trainees how to use Faemina’s unique brewing system to brew filter coffee.
LaCimbali M200 and the new G50 grinder-doser are the official equipment of Latte Art Live, where visitors to the Festival will be able to admire the best baristas creating true works of art.
Finally, the iconic US brand Slayer (stand G49) is present with the Slayer Steam LP, the perfect espresso machine for those seeking incredible control and precision thanks to the system that automatically registers settings while extracting coffee, and the single-group Slayer Espresso, featuring an unrivalled design and temperature stability with a unique heating system.
The two machines are the stars of a competition in collaboration with Oatly: during the three-day festival, various roasters take turns on the machines in a morning and an afternoon shift with the aim of creating their best latte art, which will then be judged by the Slayer and Oatly team to declare the winner.
