The challenge underlying the process of designing and creating this system was to intervene on two critical issues of the lever group: the time taken between one brew and another and the strain on the operator when using the machine at a sustained pace and for long stretches.
Gruppo Izzo can claim to have won that challenge as they have succeeded in intervening in the only time-space that does not affect the result of the espresso in the cup, and at the same time reducing the physical effort needed for certain operations.
