HONOLULU, Hawaii – In collaboration with the Hawaii Farm Bureau, DBEDT’s Community-Based Economic Development (CBED) Program and Enterprise Zone (EZ) Program takes part as an exhibitor at the Hawaii Coffee Association’s 24th Annual Conference and Cupping Competition held on July 25, 2019 through July 27, 2019 at the Ala Moana Hotel, Honolulu, Hawaii.
The conference includes workshops on soil health, fermentation with yeasts, roasting and cupping as well as informative speaker sessions.
The conference also hosts the Hawaii Coffee Championships including Barista and Brewer’s Cup competitions, touring of the Ko Hana Rum Company and the Hawaii Agriculture Research Center (HARC) in Kunia with a field tour of their ongoing research projects.
