BELFORTE DEL CHIENTI, Italy – Yesterday’s lecture held by Professor Chahan Yeretzian, one of the world’s leading experts in the coffee sector, was followed by a large international audience in live streaming.
Yeretzian was talking with Professor Sauro Vittori, from Unicam, about “Coffee Extraction”.
The two professors introduced and compared their latest research. Prof. Yeretzian’s contribution focused on his latest studies on “Nine different extraction methods”, “Kinetic extraction ” and “The Importance of Water”, while Professor Vittori delivered a presentation titled “Espresso: an important source of health, promoting bioactive molecules”.
The event with Professor Yeretzian is the first public event organised by the International Hub for Coffee Research and Innovation, the centre for research and innovation in the coffee industry, established by Simonelli Group and the University of Camerino to provide scientific and technological support to development in the coffee chain.
The headquarters of the centre, in the production facility of Nuova Simonelli, in Belforte del Chienti, will be officially launched today.
