Under the motto “Inclusive Value Chain Transformation in African Coffee Industry”, the 2016 Annual Meetings of the Inter African Coffee Organisation (IACO) run today through Saturday in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
The program starts today with the African Coffee Scientific Conference. This will be followed tomorrow and Wednesday by the 4th African Coffee Symposium.
The Technical Committees and Board of Directors Meetings as well as the Meeting of African Ministers Responsible for Coffee are taking place on Thursday.
The African Coffee Policy Forum and 56th Annual General Assembly will be held on Friday.
The Inter-African Coffee Organisation, or IACO is an intergovernmental organisation established in 1960 in Madagascar, with a mission of assisting member countries, by means of negotiations and consultations, to obtain sustainable and fair remunerative prices for African smallholders and strategically position the continent in the global coffee value chain.
