SANT FELIU DE LLOBREGAT (Spain) – IBERITAL ’s private collection (picture) of antique coffee machines is finally on display on our premises.
The historic pieces that the firm’s founder and owner gathered over the years were shown with great success in the L’Illa Diagonal shopping centre in May 2012. A year later, the history of the coffee machine is on view in Iberital.
The machines that make up this collection, put together over the last 30 years, are from different periods and are in a variety of styles. The oldest pieces date from the 19th century, but most bear witness to the 20th century and the changing face of the coffee machine in the modern age.
The permanent exhibition established in Sant Feliu de Llobregat gives customers, suppliers and friends of Iberital the opportunity to enjoy the collection. At the same time, agreements are being reached with schools and universities to create an interactive area that will open up the culture of coffee to the whole community.
