MILAN, Italy – Iberital will present Tandem, its newest espresso coffee machine, at Host Milano 2019, the world-leading trade fair dedicated to the catering and hospitality industry, from October 18th until the 22nd. Tandem is a powerful, versatile and easy-to-use coffee machine, with a modern and iconic design, that has been conceived to provide the best solutions to the everyday barista life.

With this, the Barcelonian company aims to repeat the success of the last edition, when Iberital’s awarded VISION received a great deal of attention from participants and specialised media thanks to its commitment to efficiency and sustainability.

The best companion

After revolutionising the coffee sector with Vision, internationally praised as the espresso machine of the future, now Iberital aims to “consolidate the brand’s new era, betting on design and technology to move the industry forward, also in the mid-market segment,” says José Ruiz, International Vice-president of the company. The firm has focused on understanding and effectively addressing the user needs and habits to offer them a professional coffee machine that is also a reliable companion to enjoy the daily work with.

Warm, kind, comfortable; easy to use; suitable for every situation. Tandem is friendly all around. Every single element has been thought to ease everyday tasks. From the perfect shape of the new steam wands to the rational and Nordic-inspired removable basket, which will help the barista to attain superior handling of cups, plates and milk jugs.

The latest from Iberital combines functionality with a distinctive design, again from Andreu Carulla’s ACID studio. Tandem remains faithful to the ground-breaking image—close to interior design and domestic high technology—that has become the brand’s signature. Its design has been refined to the essence, removing the accessory to highlight just the necessary. The result is a sober and robust yet modern and iconic espresso machine that fits into any environment.

Repeats its success

Those who want to discover the latest cutting-edge espresso machines can pop by Iberital’s stand (Pavilion 24 Stand T50 U49) at Host Milano from October the 18th until the 22nd.

In the last edition, the Barcelonian brand was one of the most celebrated ones among press and critics due to Vision.

Vision Experience

“It had a great reception, not only from people in the sector, but also from designers and architects,” asserts Roser Sala, International Development Manager, “everybody was very enthusiastic about our conceptual reinterpretation of the professional espresso machine, and this year we aim to repeat that success with Tandem.”

As well as displaying the new product, Iberital will also host a Vision Experience coffee cupping along with Guido Buitenhuis—best specialty coffee roaster at the Independent Barcelona Coffee Festival 2018.

“We invite all those roasters who want to take part at the 2019 HOST Milano Vision Experience to bring their most exclusive creations to pull out together their full aroma and taste by designing specific extraction methods with VISION and its IB HeatControl technology,” says Francesca Torelli, Marketing Manager. Interested participants may contact the brand through the website and social networks.

An awarded machine

Vision has recently been awarded with one of the Smart Label 2019 Host Innovation Award, promoted by Host in collaboration with POLI.design, and it will also be displayed at the fair among all the winning products (Pavilion 10, Stand M40 N74 N12 N11).

It rewards Iberital’s determined bid for “implementing IoT to offer precision and personalisation to the rituals of coffee drinking.” It comes to join the other five international awards achieved in 2018 by Vision, that have prized its commitment to build a healthier and more sustainable future through design and technical excellence.
