NEW YORK, U.S. – As announced on March 4th, 2014, effective with the May 2016 expiration, the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is revising the origin differentials for delivery of coffee from Colombia and Brazil. From May 2016 and forward, the delivery differential for Colombia will be 400 points (4 cents per pound) premium.

The delivery differential for Brazil will be 600 points (6 cents per pound) discount to par.

This change to the Colombia and Brazil delivery differentials is being made via amendments to Schedule C-2 of Coffee “C” Rules Appendix IV.

The complete Coffee “C” futures Rules can be found online at: https://www.theice.com/publicdocs/rulebooks/futures_us/8_Coffee.pdf.

Prior to implementation of the amendments to Schedule C-2 the differential for Colombia is 200 points (2 cents per pound) premium and the differential for Brazil is 900 points (9 cents per pound) discount to par.
