LONDON – World coffee exports amounted to 11.01 million bags in January up 20.7% from the same month of 2017, according to Ico’s monthly figures released on Wednesday. Arabica shipments rose by 7% to 6.526 million bags.
Among Arabicas, only Colombian Milds recorded a 6.5% decrease year on year, while shipments of Other Milds and Brazilian Naturals rose by 8.2% and 12.2% respectively.
Boosted by Vietnam, Robustas exports surged by a whopping 48.2% to 4.484 million bags.
