La Marzocco’s long-time ambassadors, Caro and Anita Gehrig, kick off “Grind for Good” auction

SCARPERIA, Florence (Italy) – La Marzocco, a global leader in high-end espresso machines, announces an initiative with its long-time ambassadors, Caro and Anita Gehrig, former Enduro racers and now owners of the Flems Mountain Lodge in Flims, Switzerland. Together, they are launching a charity auction called “Grind for Good.”

The Gehrig twins partnered with La Marzocco and Specialized, the global player in the bike industry, to auction off a custom-painted Soil Searching Linea Mini home espresso machine and a unique Specialized Diverge bike.

Proceeds will be destined, on the one hand, to the “Hands for Songwa” foundation, which supports and undertakes community development initiatives to improve social and economic services for the people working and living at the Songwa Estates, and its surroundings, in Tanzania.

On the other hand, the funds raised will provide a contribution to Outride, an NGO dedicated to improving the lives of youth through cycling. Outride aims to instill essential life skills, confidence, and empowerment amongst the younger generations, offering them a brighter and more promising future. The auction begins on August 5.
