NAPA VALLEY, Calif., U.S. – illy, the third-generation family-owned coffee company from Trieste, Italy, committed to offering the highest quality, most ethically sourced coffee to the world, announces it is playing a role in providing its coffee products and expertise to The Culinary Institute of America’s new food and wine destination in downtown Napa, the CIA at Copia.
The CIA at Copia, situated next to the Oxbow Public Market on First Street in downtown Napa, California, offers daily food and wine demonstrations, a lifestyle store, The Restaurant at CIA Copia, and a variety of spaces to host private and special events.
Over the course of the next year, the CIA at Copia will introduce wine tasting experiences, hands-on classes in new state-of-the-art teaching kitchens, and several art collections featured throughout the facility.
In addition to serving illy coffee, The Restaurant at CIA Copia features the works of chefs-inspired by global flavors and fresh ingredients-who bring their creations directly from the kitchen to guests’ tables to choose from and share.
The restaurant also curates a selection of wines, beer, and craft cocktails focused on elevating the flavors of each dish. illy’s coffee will be available throughout the facility and its University of Coffee plans to offer tastings and education classes in 2017 as part of the CIA’s tasting experiences.
The new Copia facility is also home to The Chuck Williams Culinary Arts Museum, Wine Hall of Fame, and Food Business School (FBS), the college’s new center for executive education.
