BADEN-BADEN, Germany – illycaffè was the official coffee partner of the Baden-Baden Wine- and Gourmet-Festival by Falstaff, which took place May 19-21, 2023, at the Kongresshaus Baden-Baden. The festival brought together approximately 5,000 gourmet- and wine lovers. illycaffè’s distinctive 100% Arabica blend, consisting of nine of the world’s finest coffees, was featured at many of the festival’s official events, as well as in the spacious coffee bar hub on the second floor.
Outstanding winemakers, sommelière, Michelin-starred chefs and other high-profile speakers from the culinary industry shared their knowledge with visitors in numerous events.
This ranged from lectures and panel discussions to workshops such as Coffee Sensory with illycaffè and masterclasses to the absolute crown jewel of the festival: the grand gala dinner of the Italian three-star Michelin top chef Massimo Bottura in the Painters’ Hall of the Hotel Maison Messmer.
The world-renowned pioneer of fine taste is a brand ambassador for illycaffè and served an espresso from illycaffè as the finale to his six-course gourmet menu.
illycaffè has built up a whole world around the perfect enjoyment of coffee, skilfully combining art, innovation, experience and the best taste. Small art objects in the form of coffee cups, numbered and signed by world-famous artists, make the enjoyment of an espresso an experience for the mind, eyes and palate.
The illy Art Collection is available as a set of cups for espresso and cappuccino. Some editions are also available as individual espresso cups.

This certification recognizes companies for their commitment to a responsible and sustainable future. The fact that sustainability is not just a concept is also underlined by illy with the annual Ernesto Illy International Coffee Award, where the best sustainable coffee producers are honored for their work.
