MILAN, Italy – illycaffè has opened a new café in the prestigious Food Hall on the 7th floor at Rinascente Milano. The concept for the café, which has a surface area of 80 square meters, is the expression of illy’s identity as represented in its pillars Good, Goodness, and Beauty through the elegance of its design, its artistic touches, and the beauty of its decorations and emblematic and communicative elements, underscoring the brand’s identity and how it is bound to the world of coffee.
The relaxed atmosphere is enhanced by the use of natural materials, such as the grey-and-white marble countertop, the sessile oak tables, and the wooden chars. The bar – the soul of the café – will be decorated with bright colours, coffee beans, and floral motifs to celebrate summer and the grand opening.

The new illy café features a rich and varied menu ideal for all moments of the day: from the early morning, to start the day with the aroma of the unique illy blend, available in the Classic, Intense and Strong roasts coupled with small pastries, to salads and savoury snacks and lunch, and a wide array of cocktails at happy hour.
Every month, the single origin Arabica coffees that have qualified as finalists for the 5th Ernesto Illy International Coffee Award will be available here on an exclusive basis, in addition to other unique offers such as Orizzonte, a new recipe that enhances the unmistakeable aroma of the illy blend with a natural touch from spirulina.
The café will also feature a sales point where clients can purchase illy products and accessories: from iperespresso machines to the iconic illy Art Collection coffee cups.
