TRIESTE, Italy – illycaffè renews its partnership with the International Talent Support (ITS) event for 2020. Founded in 2002, International Talent Support has grown to become one of the most prestigious competitions in the world for emerging talents in the fields of fashion, accessories and jewellery design.

The event is a platform for the new generations of creative young people, who have the opportunity to present their projects before an exceptional jury made up of leading figures and professionals from the fashion world.

This is a vibrant opportunity to meet and exchange ideas, which every year transforms Trieste into a remarkable window onto the trends we can look forward to in the near future.

This year, illy is delighted to once again sponsor the “ITS Fashion@Work Award“, which was won last year by 26-year-old Chinese student Jiaen Cai. This year’s winner will be chosen from the ten finalists, carefully selected by illycaffè’s Artistic Director, Carlo Bach.

The participants have been invited to creatively re-imagine the bartender’s apron, but this year they must also turn their attention to the question of sustainability.

The results offer an eclectic range of personal visions that transform an everyday garment into an exciting design object.

illycaffè is a company that constantly pursues sustainable quality, and our passion for beauty is an essential component of our corporate culture and ethics. This is a passion that we bring to many areas and we always seek to promote and support art and creativity,” says Massimiliano Pogliani, CEO of illycaffè.

Our partnership with ITS is therefore a natural step for the company, and we are delighted to renew our collaboration once again in 2020, continuing to promote and give concrete support to the young talents of the future.
