JAKARTA – In order to help domestic coffee players, Indonesia’s Ministry of Industry together with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and Tokopedia, a technology company specializing in e-commerce, rolled out last week the #SatuDalamKopi (One In Coffee) campaign.
Coffee processing small and medium industry (IKM) is one of the sectors affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia.
The initiative was aimed at advancing the archipelago coffee while at the same time keeping the wheels of the economy moving amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
The national #SatuDalamKopi campaign, which was held on April 20-26 2020 in Tokopedia, involved almost 1,200 coffee industry players from various parts of Indonesia as well as coffee lovers from all over the country.
“In a situation like this, it is very important that all parties work together, ranging from the government, industry players, Indonesian technology companies to the community. So that economic activity continues to run amid the Covid-19 pandemic,” said Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita in Jakarta, last Monday.
