The new Dalla Corte’s automated vertical warehouse has been operating since mid-June. A 7 metre-high “chest” that makes the storing area even more capacious and functional.
Every operation, from loading to picking, is carried out automatically and is software-controlled. Metal drawers are picked and placed on an external picking bay, where the desired parts can be taken.
Once the picking (or loading) is entered into the computer, the drawer will automatically move back to its original storage location.
The movement of all items is controlled by a software, which keeps an inventory that can be monitored by means of a touch-screen control panel.
