MILAN – The International Women’s Coffee Alliance officially welcomes its 25th national Chapter: “IWCA Myanmar believes that systemic and enduring change is possible when communities are able to initiate and drive their own development agenda, work with governments and other actors to access basic rights and services as well as harness and grow their own resources,” reads a statement from the new Chapter.

IWCA Myanmar therefore invests in enhancing organized community-led initiatives to create a firm basis for sustainable development.”

Meanwhile, the IWCA Global team is actively working virtually and has prepared a COVID-19 reference page, which is available at this link.

As the coffee industry continues to adapt and navigate in these uncertain times the IWCA Mexico chapter published a new blog post with a message of encouragement to all working to empower women in coffee: link here.
