SPRINGFIELD, IL, US – The International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Cajary Majlis, the distributor of Mutombo Coffee, and supplier of branded specialty coffee for food service, e-commerce, and retail distribution support of coffee farming communities. The MOU establishes a partnership with IWCA Producing chapters located in the Eastern and Southern regions of Africa and will work to enable greater market access for their coffees.
“Our mission is to responsibly source and deliver agricultural products from undervalued communities to fast growing markets across various regions, including the highest quality specialty coffee from Africa,” says Cajary Majlis Chairman Dikembe Mutombo, adding, “the Mutombo Coffee team is proud to partner with IWCA’s export ready African farmers who are eager to introduce the international coffee buying community to their delicious beans.”

As a global organization, the IWCA works to facilitate partnerships with other organizations in support of individual IWCA chapters in 27 countries to help members achieve strategic goals specific to their community’s needs. Signing the MOU with Mutombo Coffee marks another step forward in delivering locally-driven, globally-connected impact for women in the coffee supply chain.
