HAMBURG, Germany – Vegan and vegetarian food is a major trend, not just for Hollywood celebrities. More and more people in Germany are likewise going vegan/vegetarian.
Deliberate abstention from meat and the choice of animal-free products is also having a significant impact on the restaurant and food service markets.
What a difference from the situation a few years ago, when vegetarian and vegan foods were niche products on most menus! Restaurants are currently widening their menus to include them, and the trend is steadily upwards. Institutional caterers are also providing more vegan and vegetarian foods, as shown by the INTERNORGA GV-Barometer published in January.
As a trend catalyst, INTERNORGA focuses on this development and presents a wide range of exhibitors with vegan/vegetarian products.
Exhibitors present vegan/vegetarian innovations and new products The Newcomers’ Area showcases a range of exciting concepts for healthy eating. For example the first vegan wholesaler AVE – Absolute Vegan Empire, with their extensive range of products free of animal ingredients.
AVE is regarded as the front runner in this sector, and presents unique new products at INTERNORGA.
And Lizza, a young start-up specialising in low-carb pizza dough made with chia and flax seeds – it is not only vegan and gluten-free, but also uses exclusively ingredients from sustainable organic farming.
Long-established exhibitors from the food industry will also showcase an expanded range of vegetarian products.
For example Salomon Food World present a new type of veggie burger and Asian noodle sticks, Wiesenhof feature their extensive veggie range, and Lutz will present a range of vegetarian products.
It’s quicker with the app – easy to find exhibitors with vegan/vegetarian products INTERNORGA has the widest and deepest range of exhibits in the restaurant and food service sector, giving a full market overview of current future subjects in the sector.
