For the world of tea, Host and ADeMaThè – Associazione Italiana Degustatori e Maestri di Thè (Italian association of tea tasters and masters) will be organising tea tasting and workshops, focusing strongly on the new professions: Tea Testers, Tea Traders, Tea Ceremony Masters.
A real Villaggio del Caffè, the coffee village set up by ALTOGA – will provide training sessions and information by experts in the coffee supply chain, along with a taste counter including live performances where it will also be possible to admire the biggest cappuccino in the world, which will be going for the Guinness World Record.
Host is held in Milan, city of Expo 2015 dedicated to the theme of food, and one of the European economy’s key crossroads: being present at Host means having a master key to unlock the doors to numerous, high income markets. A role that is seen in the numbers: a real boom of new entry companies in 2013, with over 260 already now.
A total of over 1,600 exhibitors are expected from 50 countries, in 12 pavilions. In particular, exhibitors from the USA have doubled, from France they are up by 30%, from Germany by 21%, from the Netherlands by 20% and from Switzerland by 15%. Excellent performance by emerging economies too.
