RIMINI –A.B. Tech Expo plays an increasingly key role for the growth of the baker’s art and increasingly decisive for the international re-launch of companies’ business. The agreement, signed recently at the offices of Rimini Fiera between the chairman of the AIBI (Italian Association of Bakery Ingredients, a member of Assitol), Palmino Poli, accompanied for the occasion by the Assitol general manager Claudio Ranzani, and the chairman of Rimini Fiera, Lorenzo Cagnoni, makes participation a must for all trade members in the International Exhibition of Technologies and Products for Bakery, Pastry and Confectionery, the fourth edition of which will be held at the Rimini Expo Centre from January 17 al 21, simultaneously with the 36th world-leading SIGEP expo (International Exhibition for Artisan Production of Gelato, Pastry, Confectionery and Bakery).
Chairman Poli commented, “We greatly appreciate the effort by Rimini Fiera to bring together the sector’s productive forces in a single reference point – this is very important in a complicated economic period such as this. We also acknowledge the Rimini expo organizers’ ability to look to the future with a pro-active innovative spirit.”
Chairman Cagnoni adds, “With this agreement, we once again confirm the key role of SIGEP and A. B. TECH, which offer, at the same time, fine-tuned business opportunities to the entire bakery and pastry sector, which, united once again here, will be able to go from strength to strength.”
More in detail, the AIBI – as well as its patronage – ensures its support to favour its members’ participation in the Rimini expo and undertakes to organize presentations of the show to its members.
A.B. Tech Expo, organized by Rimini Fiera and promoted by Consorzio Sipan in collaboration with Italmopa and, of course, AIBI, has therefore achieved the goal of gathering together in one large expo Italy’s entire bakery sector, the key companies for Italian-made products and the leading European brands, which from now on will be the absolute key players. Rimini is the starting point for the evolution of the most innovative and representative solutions for the bread, pizza, confectionery and pastry chains, as well as new trends in production and consumption, new venue formats and new marketing concepts for international business.
In the 2015 edition, a significant accent will be put on industrial processes, while continuing to highlight the specific aspects of the artisan world. At the centre of the expo, there will be health and food safety issues, in the form of traceability of the chain starting from the raw materials, as well as focuses on sustainability and innovation as far as technology is concerned, a key element for the most dynamic markets.
At the 2015 edition of the great A.B. Tech Expo – SIGEP show, over 174,000 Italian and foreign trade visitors are expected, who will be able see first-hand the best products and new proposals in 110,000 square metres occupied by over 1,000 exhibitors.
