GRAND DUCHY OF LUXEMBOURG — IVS Group informs that its subsidiary IVS Italia S.p.A., acquired 70% of IVS H24 S.r.l., a newly formed company, incorporated by DAI 24 S.r.l., through the contribution in kind of its H24 vending business. DAI 24 S.r.l. and now IVS 24 S.r.l. is active in the Genoa area, with a network of 11 automatic shops, with sales of over Euro 1 million when fully operational in normal conditions.
Thanks to a very effective business model and market strategy developed by its three founders, DAI 24 S.r.l. achieved excellent results, much higher than the standard of this segment of the vending industry, which is usually served by small and very small businesses.
IVS intends to continue and support the development of this successful business model at national level, with significant investments and innovative strategies, exploiting its widespread presence and the skills of the team that managed DAI 24 S.r.l. to date.
In particular, Alessandro Maralino, who will maintain a relevant role, becoming one of the key group managers, with the scope of making this business grow well beyond the Ligurian area.
IVS Group S.A. is the Italian leader and the second player in Europe in the business of automatic and semi-automatic vending machines for the supply of hot and cold drinks and snacks (vending).
The core vending business is mainly carried out in Italy (83% of sales), France, Spain and Switzerland, with around 224,000 vending machines; the group ha a network of 88 branches and around than 2,900 employees. IVS Group serves more than 15,000 corporate clients and public entities, with over 600 million vends in 2020.
