OSAKA – Hilton Worldwide on Monday announced the launch of Coffee Revolution, a new coffee experience that will be introduced in phases to the 10 participating Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts and DoubleTree by Hilton hotels across Japan.

In collaboration with world class latte artist Hiroshi Sawada, Asia’s first winner of the Latte Art World Championship, the Coffee Revolution is part of Hilton Worldwide’s ongoing “Play! Hilton” series of enriching short stay packages in Japan. Guests to Hilton Osaka will be the first in Japan to savor the Coffee Revolution experience.

Interest in consuming coffee has been growing within the Japan market; its consumption saw a year-on-year increase of 4% between 2012 and 2013i. Noticeably, consumers are also expecting more when they drink their coffee in terms of experience, quality and flavor.

In partnering with Sawada to launch Coffee Revolution, the company aims to raise the standards in the hospitality industry for delivering a memorable coffee experience.

Furthermore, Sawada’s passion and dedication to coffee, combined with his resilient drive to provide the best coffee experience to his customers, fits snugly with Hilton Worldwide’s “omotenashi” service.

Tapping on Sawada’s expertise, the Coffee Revolution experience is centered on savoring a cup of coffee that is made from an original “Hilton x Hiroshi Sawada” coffee blend created by the master barista and prepared by thoughtful, skillful hotel baristas trained by Sawada with the use of top quality espresso machines.

Patrons to the food & beverage outlets of the participating hotels can also enjoy their choice of brew prepared with a beautiful latte art.

In addition, the Coffee Revolution also aims to attract consumers who prefer to enjoy their coffee to-go. A take-out coffee station will also be available at the hotel lobby for patrons to enjoy the special blend on the move.

Coffees are priced from 1,540 yen (dine-in) and 590 yen (take-out). Hilton Osaka will offer a 100 yen discount for all take-out coffee via the hotel Twitter stream until July 17. Hilton Osaka Twitter can be accessed here: https://twitter.com/hiltonosakaconc.
