Jde receives antitrust approval to acquire JOBMeal in Sweden and Finland

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands – Jacobs Douwe Egberts’ acquisition of  JOBMeal in Sweden and Finland has received antitrust approval, without any restriction, the company announced in a press release.

With this important step we will be able to leverage on the great JDE coffee and tea offerings and JOBmeal’s extensive customer base to better ensure the evolving needs of our customers in Sweden and Finland” said George Schoof, General Manager JDE Professional Nordics.

The two companies will continue to operate as separate entities, while we carefully assess the strengths and opportunities that the enlarged business provides, with the goal of further enhancing the service range we offer to all Swedish and Finnish customers,” JDE said in the release.

JOBmeal is a dedicated out of home coffee business, head quartered in Stockholm, offering a range of office coffee solutions to customers in Sweden and Finland. The company was established in 2000 and today employs over 360 associates in the Nordics.
