BURLINGTON, Mass. and PLANO, Texas, U.S. – Keurig Dr Pepper has recently acquired Chicago-based Limitless, which produces caffeinated sparking water and other coffee and tea products, for an undisclosed sum. The partnership will help expand the distribution of Limitless products, which are primarily sold in Walmart, KDP said. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Limitless sparkling water has 35 milligrams of caffeine, no sugar and no calories. The canned beverage comes in Grapefruit Hibiscus, Cucumber Pear, Watermelon, Ginger Mint, Blood Orange and Lemon Lime flavors, according to the Limitless website. The company also has two cafes in Chicago under the name Limitless Coffee & Tea.
Limitless was founded in 2016 by Matt Matros, who also founded the Protein Bar chain, and currently produces a range of zero calorie sparkling caffeinated waters.
