In November, Keurig Green Mountain has opened a new space in the lobby of their Burlington, Massachusetts office. Named Perk Up!, the space is more than just a coffee bar.

It’s a taste-and-learn coffee experience that invites the company’s employees to become students of coffee, exploring coffee in new and different ways.

Employees and guests can grab a drink or take a class to explore the rich and wonderful world of coffee.

A coffee specialist will serve a variety of coffee drinks – from rare single origin drip, to espresso and specialty drinks – for a suggested donation that will go to one of the company’s non-profit partners, like Root Capital and Blue Harvest.

To raise the coffee IQ, each week Perk Up! will offer seminars on everything and anything related to coffee, from terroir to cupping to marketing and insights – all held in a new training center in the Burlington lobby.

There was a special guest at the grand opening of Perk Up! – a vibrant coffee tree.

Keurig’s Waterbury, Vermont campus gifted the tree to the coffee bar as way to send 11-years-worth of good coffee vibes from the Green Mountain Coffee Roasters® Café and Visitor Center.

They even sent instructions on how to take care of the tree.
