NAPLES – Kimbo, the historic Italian company founded in 1963 in Naples and today present with its products in 100 countries around the world, takes flight from this summer with KIMBO In-Cup, a new travel solution that combines a simple and fast service with the experience of quality coffee: the new drink is available “on board” on all the flights of Sundair, the German airline which every year transports over 600,000 passengers to 30 different destinations between the Mediterranean, the Red Sea and the Canary Islands, as well as numerous internal flights in Germany and direct ones to Beirut.

 KIMBO In-Cup, a new travel solution

The KIMBO In-Cup, the result of long and in-depth research dedicated by Kimbo UK to travel channel operators just because it allows airlines and other travel operators to easily serve passengers freshly ground filter coffee instead of instant coffee, offers a freshly ground 100% Arabica filtered coffee that uses the innovative lid with integrated filter: thanks to the experience of the master roasters Neapolitans, coffee beans of the best origins have been selected and roasted to perfection to provide an unmistakable cup of Kimbo coffee.

In the KIMBO In-Cup the dose of ground coffee is sealed with aluminum foil to guarantee freshness in every single cup and preserve all the organoleptic properties: once the film has been removed, the cup can be easily filled with hot water. And, once the exclusive lid with filter has been applied, the cup of fresh Kimbo coffee is ready to be served, in all its flagrance and with all its unmistakable aroma. You can also add milk and sugar through the entire filling, so that the lid does not have to be removed.

This incredible achievement is the brilliant result of the hard-working partnership between the London-based team at Kimbo UK, the manufacturing partner RTM BruPac, the British in-cup drinks specialist for many of the leading global brands, including the new ‘on the go’ Kimbo, and BB-inflight GmbH Distribution, which supplies passenger comfort equipment and products to airlines and rail operators directly from its large warehouse in Cologne.
