SÃO PAULO, Brazil – Klabin, Brazil’s largest paper producer and exporter, formalized an agreement with the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA), the Specialty Coffee Association of Brazil (BSCA), the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) and packaging maker Videplast Indústria de Embalagens for the study “Development of Packaging and Storage Methods for Specialty Coffees,” which will be coordinated by Flávio Meira Borém, a professor in the Engineering Department at UFLA.
