WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., U.S. – Krispy Kreme has declared everyone is on the nice list this year, and the Gingerbread People of America are back sharing the nicest spice of the season with the return of Gingerbread Glazed Doughnuts. Beginning Dec.16 for a limited-time at participating shops across the U.S., Krispy Kreme fans can enjoy two seasonal varieties of the Original Glazed Doughnut and Original Filled Doughnut that offer ginger spice and everything nice:
- The Gingerbread Glazed Doughnut has perfectly spiced gingerbread dough with hints of cinnamon, covered in a warm gingerbread molasses glaze.
- The Gingerbread Glazed Original Filled Cheesecake Doughnut is the same perfectly spiced gingerbread glazed doughnut filled with a delicious cheesecake Kreme.
“Everyone on the nice list deserves our delicious, melt-in-your-mouth Gingerbread Glazed Doughnuts,” said Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer of Krispy Kreme. “We’re happy to bring back this holiday favorite.”
The Gingerbread Glazed doughnuts, which are available through Dec. 24, join Krispy Kreme’s “Nicest Holiday Collection” introduced earlier. The collection’s Festive Tree, Present and Santa Belly doughnuts also are available through Dec. 24 in a limited-edition “gift-wrapped” dozen box.
