Conferences, tastings, workshops, performances, exhibitions dedicated to chocolate: taking place from December 5 to 8 at Modica ChocoModica, the Eurochocolate event organized by the City of Modica and the Consortium for the and the conservation of the famous chocolate of Modica.
The event is created to promote the historical link between the Sicilian city and its chocolate tradition of the highest quality.

Expo Milano 2015 is the main partner of the event and will propose the photo exhibition Discover Expo Milano 2015, held at Piazza Monumento on the theme Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life: through statistics and imagery, the Universal Exposition, with all its challenges and opportunities, will recount this mouthwatering event to visitors.
Expo Milano 2015 will also be present in the Polo Degustazioni (Winetasting Area) with a series of fun, and of course, chocolate-themed activities.
The Sicily Region and Expo Milano 2015: The Bio-Mediterraneum Cluster meets the Cocoa Cluster
For industry professionals there will be an event on December 7, at 11.30, at the Council Chamber of Palazzo San Domenico in Modica, where the partnership between the Sicily Region’s Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and Mediterranean Fisheries and EuroChocolate will be presented, for developing synergies between the Cocoa Cluster and the Bio-Mediterraneum Cluster at the Universal Exposition.
The Sicily Region, partner of Expo Milano 2015 and Lead for the Bio-Mediterraneum Cluster, intends to maximize the excellence of its territory by ensuring a full promotion and presence within the Bio-Mediterraneum Cluster and other Clusters of interest. Thus, the meeting of Modica will be an important opportunity to assess how the involvement of Siciliy’s territories in the Cluster is progressing.
The partnership will help promote the blend of chocolate – and in particular Modica’s chocolate – with Sicily’s sweet wines within the Cocoa Cluster.
