SCARPERIA, Florence, Italy – La Marzocco has been involved with the London Coffee Festival since its inception and the 2019 edition was yet another invigorating happening. The London Coffee Festival proved that the specialty coffee movement is developing and growing stronger and stronger.
La Marzocco is thrilled to announce the winners from this year’s London Coffee Festival Awards, as voted for by event visitors and the industry.
First, the Most Innovative Product (industry vote) was won by KB90: the newest addition to La Marzocco espresso machines, featuring game-changing technology like the Straight In Portafilter System. The Roaster Village also won Favourite Key Feature.
La Marzocco is also happy to announce winners from its signature format True Artisan Café, as voted for by visitors. The True Artisan Café is the ultimate showcase of La Marzocco’s partnerships within the local and international roaster network, aimed at presenting the very best of what coffee brands have to offer in both espresso extraction and signature drink creation.
While Leto (Union) won Best Signature Drink, Le Café Alain Ducasse won best espresso. Alain Ducasse’s new venture into coffee was executed earlier this year with two locations in Paris and London, each holding bespoke La Marzocco espresso machines.
Five Elephants took the award for Most Money Raised for Project Waterfall Charity, whereas the Best Social and Online Promotion went to Familia Osorio Coffee.
Lastly, the True Artisan Café – Visitors Favourite was won by Grind.
