FLORENCE, Italy – La Marzocco, a leader in the production of handmade espresso machines since 1927, announces that it will be exhibiting Melbourne International Coffee Expo 2022 (MICE) – pavilion 165. After three years of postponements and cancellations due to COVID-19, the expo will take place September 27 – 30, 2022.
As the coffee world finally descends upon Melbourne to celebrate the vibrant industry MICE will also host World Barista Championships and World Brewers Cup. La Marzocco looks forward to welcoming friends, customers, and fellow coffee enthusiasts to their stand to showcase a holistic approach to specialty coffee and its innovation and celebrate the past, the present, and the mighty future of our heritage brand.
La Marzocco at Mice
Showcasing a wide range of machinery, visitors will see recent releases, such as the Linea Classic S and automated milk steamer Wally Milk. Alongside these innovations, visitors can interact with renowned and beloved machines such as the Liena PB, GB5 X, and KB90.
MICE 2022 will also mark the occasion to showcase the Officine Fratelli Bambi PB, a bespoke catalog machine handcrafted by a team of artisans near Florence, Italy. Alongside the catalog model, a customized GB5 will be on display to showcase the endless possibilities of your customization journey with Officine Fratelli Bambi.
Some of Australia’s most prominent roasters will be taking over the True Artisan café. Throughout the week, these roasters will pour a selection of their coffees using the Modbar, the under-counter modular espresso machine system.
Accademia del Caffè Espresso is also coming to MICE, direct from Florence, Italy. Nora Šmahelová, Coffee Education Leader at Accademia del Caffè Espresso, will be pouring a curated selection of coffees roasted on-site at Accademia. While also speaking to the range of tailored experiences available at Accademia.
The La Marzocco stand will also play host to the Meet the Maker corner throughout the week. Hosting a line-up of guest speakers throughout the week, the Meet the Maker corner will take a technical deep dive into some of our recent innovations.
From understanding what goes into bench testing each machine before it is packaged and shipped off to cafes and venues around Australia.
