SCARPERIA, Florence, Italy – La Marzocco, a leader in espresso machine innovation and design, is proud to continue its partnership with Barista Connect.
Founded by Sonja Zweidick, the event is aimed at gathering and empowering women from the global coffee community to exchange knowledge, experiences and build long-lasting professional connections.
After a successful debut in Aarhus (2015) and other editions in London and Vienna, Barista Connect was hosted this year from 19-20 March in Melbourne, Australia: at the Maillard Atelier and at the La Marzocco Australia office and showroom in 104 Nicholson Street, Abbotsford.
Nine talks, ten speakers, three workshops shaped a multifaceted program and speaker line-up, also involving the Florentine company’s local representative, Jets Anita Langlands, Marketing Manager at La Marzocco Australia, who has been working in the specialty coffee industry for over eighteen years.
