La Marzocco is a proud sponsor of the 2016 Barista Camp within the Barista Guild of Europe program. The event took place from October 10th to the 13th in the beautiful Estonian city of Pärnu, a seafront location which brought together baristas from all over the continent to attend the third BGE Barista Camp edition.
La Marzocco, in collaboration with its local partner, King Coffee, set up the following machines: the GB5, the Linea PB with Auto Brew Ratio technology and the most recent Strada AV, the barista’s machine.
As per previous years, the Barista Camp format presents diverse educational sessions such as SCAE classes and trainings, lectures, trainings and a series of social and interactive activities.
Barista Camp focuses on developing an opportunity for baristas to learn and evolve their profession, in an environment that promotes the sharing of experience and ideas as well as being part of a wider community.
Coffee courses and certifications include: Barista Intermediate, Sensory Intermediate, Green Intermediate. Additionally, the baristas can achieve two of the four Foundation modules as follows: Barista Foundation & Brewing Foundation / Barista Foundation & Green Foundation / Sensory Foundation & Brewing Foundation / Sensory Foundation & Green Foundation.
