AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands – Celebrating the recent launch of their ultra-slick Leva machine, La Marzocco are installing an entire coffee playground at The Amsterdam Coffee Festival, from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd March 2019. Made up of several areas, it will showcase La Marzocco’s legendary machines, with experts on hand to help you test them out and answer your questions.
The Coffee
Within the playground is the return of the True Artisan Café; this is where you can delve headfirst into the heart of the specialty coffee movement. Hand-selected independent roasters and cafes, like Bocca and The Coffee Collective, are scheduled to run take overs of the La Marzocco machines all weekend long.
The exclusive
The La Marzocco hype is real at The Amsterdam Coffee Festival, but at the centre of it all is their latest launch, the Leva. The eye-catching machine re-invents the iconic lever machine with day-to-day practicality in mind, and it’s stealing the limelight at the La Marzocco Playground. True to form, it’s a thing of utter beauty, yet backed up by equally stunning mechanics. Visit the playground to meet the baristas and have a go on the Leva; it’s set to become the cutting-edge centrepiece in your favourite cafes.
The essentials
Coffee geeks will love the rest of the La Marzocco machinery on display. Pass by to see the Linea Classic and the Linea PB scales, both designed by Piero Bambi, the son of the founding La Marzocco brothers. And you wanted high tech? The Linea PB scales has scales in the drip tray; it’s the ultimate contraption for cool city cafés and named after Bambi himself. Exhibited alongside the La Marzocco headliners in the playground will be machines from Bunn, Puq Press, Mahlkonig, Ceado, Mazzer and Anfim.
