RIMINI, Italy – LaCimbali and Faema are among the stars of the 40th edition of Sigep, the International Trade Show of Artisan Gelato, Pastry, Bakery and the Coffee World which will be held at the Fiera di Rimini exhibition centre, from 19th to 23rd January 2019.
The Group’s stand (Booth D1, no. 077) will showcase the best full-automatic and traditional machines by Cimbali and Faema, as well as two new additions: La Cimbali M26TE and a new version of the Faema Teorema.
MUMAC Academy has organised a rich and engaging calendar of events: latte art activities, coffee tasting in good spirits, and recipes with a coffee and cold frothed milk base, for a out of the ordinary coffee experience.
The Faema E71E and Faema Groundbreaker – the official machine and grinder-doser of the Italian Barista Championships 2019.
Gruppo Cimbali – a world leader in the design and manufacture of professional machines for making coffee and fresh milk-based drinks and of accessories for coffee making – will once again be present at Sigep, the event which serves as a point of reference for the world of Pastry, Bakery, Chocolate, Gelato & Coffee.
Now in its 40th edition, it is scheduled to take place at the Fiera di Rimini exhibition centre from 19 to 23 January.
Two new machines on display
On the Group’s stand (Booth D1, no. 077), the best of the La Cimbali and Faema range of super-automatic and traditional machines and grinder-dosers will be on display (including the La Cimbali M100í, La Cimbali S30, La Cimbali S30 and Faema E71E, the machine for coffee specialists that is a favourite of every barista), along with two new additions, unveiled for the first time in Italy: The LaCimbali M26TE and the new version of the Faema Teorema.
A new design with fluid lines that are evocative of the first letter of the brand – a key feature of the latest La Cimbali models – is combined with improved ergonomics courtesy of extended illuminated working area and innovative technological solutions for significant energy savings; the distinctive characteristics of the La Cimbali M26TE, a model which serves to expand the M26 range.
The all-new version of the Faema Teorema, meanwhile, is styled to reflect the latest trends, and will be in stores from March 2019. It is characterised not only by its original bronze finish and wooden details, but above all by the new feature which enables the temperature of every single group to be adjusted with ease, courtesy of a series of external knobs, thus guaranteeing optimal flexibility and consistent quality of the beverages made using this machine.
A rich calendar of events with Mumac Academy
Numerous initiatives are scheduled to take place on the stand under the supervision of Mumac Academy, Cimbali Group’s training academy for professionals and coffee lovers which aims to promote and champion coffee culture.
Events will include the increasingly successful “coffee in good spirits”, along with captivating exhibitions of latte art by Michalis Karagiannis, who won second place in the last two editions of the Latte Art world championships, as well as being named national champion in this discipline three times in a row in his home country of Greece.
In addition, visitors will be able to take part in speciality coffee tastings run by His Majesty the Coffee, one of the most famous micro-roasters in Italy, with coffee-based and cold frothed milk drinks taken from the recipe book La Cimbali Milkí Mix.
This rich calendar of events (which can be viewed on the La Cimbali and Faema Instagram and Facebook pages and on their respective websites) will also include a presentation by Sergio Barbarisi – General Manager for Italy of BWT Water + More on the importance of water in the delivery of high-quality coffee .
Official sponsor of the 2019 Italian Barista Championships
Finally, Faema will be the official sponsor of the 2019 Italian Barista Championships, the competition which sets out to find the best baristas in Italy, and the only one of its kind to award the coveted Italian title to the final winner, who will go on to represent the country in the world championships, set to take place in Boston during the Specialty Coffee Expo, from 11 to 14 April.
Participants in the competition will use the Faema E71E and the Faema Groundbreaker, the super-compact high performance grinder-doser.
