FLORENCE, Italy – The second stage of the Italian selection of The Lags Battle of the Latte Art Grading System circuit took place on Wednesday 03 May 2023 at the Viper Arena in Florence with the fantastic support of the Lags Certification Point Espresso Academy in Florence.
Lags, which is growing more and more – not only in Italy but also in many countries around the world – continues to organize Lagsbranded competitions which have become a fundamental tool for making this spectacular discipline, Latte art, grow more and more.
18 Lags Warriors, professional baristas and latte art experts who challenged each other with shots of jug on the patterns of the competition disciplinary.
Out of three different categories, green, red and black, only one champion per level won the pole position to access the Italian national team at Host in October 2023.
The event was presented directly by the founder of Lags Luca Ramoni, who with the team of authorized Lags judges (Nicola Manzo, Zhonghua Hu, Simone Cattani and Simone Celli) decreed the bartenders with the best hands to access the Final Arena.
The winners of the individual categories were:
Green level: Giuseppe D’Arco (Campania)
Red level: Giulia Giovon (Piedmont)
Black level: Manuel Verdini (Marche)
