MILAN – Lavazza is expected to close in a few weeks the purchase of Carte Noire, the French market leader in coffee with about 20% market share in the retail channel, reports Reuters quoting sources close to the matter. “The deal is worth around 750 million euros and is expected to be wrapped by the end of February,” one of the sources was quoted as saying.
